Valentines Cards / January 3, 2019 / Shawn Mcgee
With crochet you can create almost anything you want and attach it to the Valentine card. Flowers hearts letters words and more. When making small crochet pieces you dont need much yarn at all you can just use leftovers you have from other creations. For Valentines Day some small crochet hearts would suit perfectly as decorations attach to the Valentine card. If you are not sure how to make these hearts you can use the free receipt for a small crochet heart that I found on the website noted at the bottom of this article. These hearts are also suitable to decorate presents with. Just glue them to the paper or use double-sided tape to attach them. A Valentine card does not necessarily have to be a typical folded card there are no rules to follow. Use your creativity and make something new fun and different.
Choosing your embellishments can be a lot of fun but also a little daunting. The most important thing to remember when choosing the right embellishment for your Valentine card idea is that you are looking for something that will suit your card design and that the recipient of your card will love. Embellishments come in many forms. You can choose from die-cuts stickers epoxy or acrylic stickers three-dimensional stickers chipboard shapes rub-ons buttons sequins ribbons scraps of fabric stamped images brads eyelets snaps or even handmade embellishments you can purchase from other crafters or make yourself. Traditional Valentines card motifs include red love hearts (although why restrict yourself to red?) cupid doves teddy bears and red roses. All of these work well with any Valentine card ideas.
The 14th of February that special and romantic day dedicated to lovers and those who are in love. Flowers cards and romantic gestures are given and received and the world becomes a wool place of hearts bunnies and soft violin music. Yeah right! Do you think that Valentines Day is about pranks on your friends? Maybe you are the friend who never receives a Valentines card and are sick of being the one left on the shelf? Whatever the reason youre going to love this idea we have come up with especially for Valentines Day. Giving Valentines to your classmates used to include endless hours of making them out of construction paper cute dollies and with painstaking attention to all the details. It was a project that was done at home for each individual child in the class.
