Another fathers day gift which tops the list is the self made card. Nothing beats a card which says that you love him. It is even better if it has been made by you because it shows the effort which you have put in. You can also frame the card if you want in this way it can be appreciated throughout the year. Photographs are always reminding us of all the beautiful memories that we have spent. On this fathers day take out the family album and use all those photographs to make a huge collage of you and your father. You can put together all the baby pictures birthday photos and all those special occasions when you and your father were together.
Another good way to celebrate this special day is to prepare a Fathers Day dinner. Prepare your Fathers favorite foods. If you dont know how to cook ask your mother to help or dial in the delivery number of his favorite restaurant. Always make sure that everybody is present on the table. Have fun talk and enjoy! Give him some Fathers Day sweets for desert. Every Fathers Day I am reminded how fortunate I was to have a Dad like mine. My Dad was "Number One" and yes I miss him. But I never bothered to buy him a tie. My sisters and I knew what he wanted more. My Dad was a very quiet gentle caring father of four girls - no boys! Thinking back I am sure Dad was a little "over his head" with all of us girls. I dont think he really knew what to do with us. "No rough-housing" was a standard phrase my Dad would use.

I think he thought wed "break." But Dad would do the quiet things with us like telling stories about far away places where we could raise giant cabbages hunt for gold or drill for oil.
