Head to the candy aisle and have fun! Allow each party guest to frost their cupcakes themselves and add their own decoration. Consider picking up some "to go" boxes so guests can take home extra cupcakes to enjoy when they return home. Use hearts cut from pieces of construction paper punch a heart shaped hole in the top string a piece of ribbon through each before filling each box with cupcakes. Write the name of each party guest on to the heart so their boxes dont get mixed up with someone elses by mistake. This box display also acts as yet another Valentines day decoration opportunity for the party. It matters what you want youre party to be like. Starting with your invites you can go a little different you might be able to find some pre cut cards in the shape of a heart. If you cant find them then maybe just plain red cards will work. Using any cursives fonts will work for the writing for the cards. From there you are going to start with the party are you going for something bigger then at your average party. Hearts and red and pink are things that are the main decorations. Yet if you want to try something different you can go with a different route. Maybe instead of using both pink and red for your Valentine decorations you can use one of those colors at the main color. From there maybe you can add a white accent like white roses for the tabletops.
Lighting incense drop a lot of rose petals on the bed and the path leading to it and use the classic red and white color scheme to complete the effect. - Go sexy: If you are great with cloth you can buy red and white satin and create the most erotic of all Valentines decorations-Valentine themed lingerie. Nothing to spice up the mood like some lingerie which couldnt get any more suggestive. - Chocolates: If you believe that the way to a womans heart is through her stomach then making her special chocolates that contain special messages would definitely be a sweeter and more innocently romantic alternative to the two above. Just make sure that your pieces of paper stick out of the chocolate lest your true love fill her stomach with mini love letters. Valentine is a great holiday for a party but now you need to find Valentine decorations for your party.
Punch two holes in the left and right side of each heart and string ribbon or twine through to create a heart paper chain. You can do this using colored construction paper and plain white paper as well. Cut the snowflake so it fits over the heart and glue them together. You could also trim the snowflake so it is slightly smaller to give the heart a framed look. Hang the hearts throughout your home on mirrors on glassed over wall hangings and from lighting. Project Idea #3 Create a simple paper chain using red pink and white. Alternate the colors in a pattern that pleases you. Theres no right or wrong way to do this. Hang this with additional Valentines day decorations like the paper hearts mentioned above. Consider hanging the hearts from the chain itself. As an added twist cut large hearts out from pieces of decorative scrapbook paper.
