This is how we showed our love not just on Fathers Day but throughout the year. We made Fathers Day special by simply telling him how much we loved him and by cooking him anything he wanted. Remembering and thanking your father on Fathers Day need not be difficult and probably doesnt need to include buying a tie. But dont forget the old saying "The way to a mans heart is through his stomach." Often it is true. Surprise your Dad or your Grand Dad or your husband with some culinary delights and his favorite beverage or two. And barbecuing is often a hit for Dads day if the weather is good.

They register how he treats their mother other family members. Family values are learned from positive experiences. - Respect for others is demonstrated in non-domestic situations. How father behaves towards other road users staff in restaurants and shops how he talks about and to other people. Good manners and consideration are important in building positive successful relationships. - A good work ethic is learned from a responsible father. A sense of fair play and integrity doing a good job and gaining satisfaction from work all engender a solid foundation for life. Being responsible with money treating property with care not taking good fortune for granted having fun doing a good job well are traits one can hope to witness and learn from a father.

If a new step father is then to be introduced taking time to establish the new relationship is important. Many other role models bring invaluable inspiration and support into a childs life. An impressive school teacher foster parent neighbour can teach so much simply by their attitude behaviour demeanour. A simple word or gesture can provide a lasting impression on a developing child. Even role models from literature film and television can influence how we as children define men and their role in our life and society. And sometimes we learn from the bad examples too how we dont want to be the negative patterns we are determined not to replicate in our later life with our own children. All these are thoughts we can bring to mind as we celebrate fathers on Fathers Day.

Then choose an activity that you know your father will enjoy but doesnt indulge in often. Take a family trip to a museum planetarium or zoo. If hes a fan of the outdoors then pack a picnic lunch and spend some time hiking through some scenic caves. If your dad loves the links have a themed day that includes a Fathers Day golf game and a few gifts associated with his favorite pastime. Knowing that you care enough to share Fathers Day activities with him will be the best present of all. Many dads love camping or fishing to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. If your dad loves the outdoors then there are a million activities that you can share.
