Valentines Flowers / January 12, 2019 / Cristina Pennington
Many women face a dilemma whenever Valentines Day comes up. They would like to send Valentines flowers to the man in their lives but are unsure about how to proceed. Men tend to make it quite difficult for them by not admitting outright that they too appreciate receiving tokens of love such as flowers. Men enjoy getting expensive gifts but they also want to get gifts that come from the heart and indicate that their partners or loved ones truly care about them. If you are wondering how to make Valentines Day special for your husband or boyfriend you should consider sending him flowers this year. Of course you need to do this correctly so that you do not inadvertently make him feel uncomfortable and thereby ruin the entire purpose of the gesture.
Stay away from pastel shades when selecting flowers to send your boyfriend or husband. Even if you do send roses you could pick orange ones or better still ones that are almost black in color. These flowers are dyed black and any florist can organize them for you. Make sure that the flowers you send are in a masculine looking vase or arrangement. Vases made of leather pewter or stainless steel will be better appreciated than delicate looking crystal or porcelain. The arrangement should not have anything remotely delicate in it. If you feel that the flowers will not be appreciated you could send your boyfriend or husband a beautiful bonsai instead. This will have maximum impact and can also be placed in the office in order to brighten up the place. A bonsai can be quite expensive but it makes a very attractive gift to a man.
Easy options for women like jewelry and valentines Flowers or Valentine chocolate gifts are more obvious but women struggle with choice in valentine gifts too. Three categories tech power tools or sports are the womans easy way out. But Valentines gifts should never really be about the obvious choice but about personal preference indulgence and appreciation. I own and run four successful gift stores and on Valentines Day its a mad house. Women are utterly perplexed when it comes to buying valentines gifts and often make poor choice in romantic gifts for their partner. Admittedly most stores in a ten mile radius stock valentine chocolate gifts in general and dont offer the ladies much other than chocolate gifts. With little to choose from women are probably going to end up buying valentine hearts and valentines flowers unless theyre given some kind of broad guideline to go on. My article is such an attempt based on my experience with helping women.
