Set this aside and roll out the dough again to cut out some smaller heart shapes. Once you have about three heart shapes in decreasing size you can press one on top of the other. Use a little water between the layers to act as a glue or paste.
Punch two holes in the left and right side of each heart and string ribbon or twine through to create a heart paper chain. You can do this using colored construction paper and plain white paper as well.
