Valentines Flowers / January 12, 2019 / Gladys Hayden
Make sure that you send a small gift along as well when you send Valentines flowers to a man. Most men love receiving chocolate or gourmet cookies and will be completely bowled over by the flowers and the gifts. Dont hesitate over what to give the man in your life this Valentines Day. Gender barriers are blurring very fast and flowers send men the same message as they have been sending women for centuries. The best Valentines flowers for him are those that will please him. Im talking about the person you love deeply. There can be several men you love in your life and this is to say that they can be your relatives friends and even a lover. It is vital for you to know how to separate the needs of men in your life. This is because they all need different things and when it comes to Valentine flowers you will discover that they are different.
Stay away from pastel shades when selecting flowers to send your boyfriend or husband. Even if you do send roses you could pick orange ones or better still ones that are almost black in color. These flowers are dyed black and any florist can organize them for you. Make sure that the flowers you send are in a masculine looking vase or arrangement. Vases made of leather pewter or stainless steel will be better appreciated than delicate looking crystal or porcelain. The arrangement should not have anything remotely delicate in it. If you feel that the flowers will not be appreciated you could send your boyfriend or husband a beautiful bonsai instead. This will have maximum impact and can also be placed in the office in order to brighten up the place. A bonsai can be quite expensive but it makes a very attractive gift to a man.
If you cant find any flower food or dont have any handy all you need is a teaspoon of sugar a teaspoon of vinegar and a teaspoon of bleach dissolved in half a liter of water to help keep your flowers fresh. Flowers dont like direct sunlight or draughts and at night they like to be kept cool so keep them in a cool sheltered place. You should keep them away from anything that gives off heat like the TV microwave or indoor heating appliances (maybe in summer this wont be such a problem). If you have a flower arrangement you wont have to worry about rearranging the flowers as the work has been done for you. If you dont have an arrangement make sure you cut off approximately an inch off each stem at an angle before arranging them.
