Use hearts cut from pieces of construction paper punch a heart shaped hole in the top string a piece of ribbon through each before filling each box with cupcakes. Write the name of each party guest on to the heart so their boxes dont get mixed up with someone elses by mistake. You can simply head to your local grocery market where youll surely find cookies of all kinds packaged and ready to be bought. This is a perfect idea for those classroom parties for which youve been asked to supply treats. Most often these are simple sugar cookies decorated with all manner of Valentine decorations - from frosting to sprinkles. This certainly makes any parents job easier; you can just pick up a couple of trays of Valentine cookies and youre on your way with cookies that will surely please every picky eater. Of course the bakery is another place to find your Valentine cookies. Here youre likely to find a more high-end cookie with better quality ingredients. If you are presenting the Valentine cookies as a gift - or bringing them to someones home - this is a great place to get them. The bakery can wrap the cookies in a tray or box them in beautiful wrapping. Either way youre giving a lovely - and sweet - gift. There are even online resources where you can find unique and creative Valentine cookies that you can box and ship to whomever you choose. Some companies will even do personalized messages on large Valentine cookies - from I Love You to Will You Marry Me?. This is a wonderful personal gift for the cookie lover in your life.
Fill a punch bowl with red punch lemon and lime flavored soda a half-gallon of rainbow sherbet (in large scoops) and cut up oranges to float on top. Wet the rims of glasses and rub them into a saucer of sugar. Display these glasses next to the punch bowl. Take sheets of plain white paper and cut them into snowflakes using all different patterns (use your imagination). Place the hearts over the snowflakes and trace around the edges. Cut the snowflake so it fits over the heart and glue them together. You could also trim the snowflake so it is slightly smaller to give the heart a framed look. Hang the hearts throughout your home on mirrors on glassed over wall hangings and from lighting. Project Idea #3 Create a simple paper chain using red pink and white. Alternate the colors in a pattern that pleases you. Theres no right or wrong way to do this. Hang this with additional Valentines day decorations like the paper hearts mentioned above.
