1. Make a statement to anyone who walks into the room with a huge banner that is hung on the wall or across the doorway. Nothing says "Happy Valentines Day!" like a Valentines banner 2. Use lots of different sized Mylar balloons all over the place. Have them hanging from the ceiling stuck to walls and even randomly on tables and chairs. 3. Have some helium balloons floating around too. Not only are they going to be mostly on the ceiling but they are fun to bat around turning into impromptu volleyball games from time to time. 4. Have paper hearts stuck everywhere. Tabletops chairs walls and even stuck on the ceiling. You can either buy premade ones or cut them out of construction paper. 5. Stuffed Valentines heart pillows and boxes of candy makes great party favors.
You can simply head to your local grocery market where youll surely find cookies of all kinds packaged and ready to be bought. This is a perfect idea for those classroom parties for which youve been asked to supply treats. Most often these are simple sugar cookies decorated with all manner of Valentine decorations - from frosting to sprinkles. This certainly makes any parents job easier; you can just pick up a couple of trays of Valentine cookies and youre on your way with cookies that will surely please every picky eater. Of course the bakery is another place to find your Valentine cookies. Here youre likely to find a more high-end cookie with better quality ingredients. If you are presenting the Valentine cookies as a gift - or bringing them to someones home - this is a great place to get them. The bakery can wrap the cookies in a tray or box them in beautiful wrapping. Either way youre giving a lovely - and sweet - gift. There are even online resources where you can find unique and creative Valentine cookies that you can box and ship to whomever you choose. Serve a wide variety of flavored decaffeinated teas as well as an assortment of flavored hot chocolate. Use tissue paper and pipe cleaners to create vases full of flowers for the tables centerpiece. You can also cut out hearts from paper and use the hearts as flower peddles glued to Popsicle sticks. For example serve a variety of foiled candies in clear dishes place a variety of cookies out in clear glass bowls (arrange them so the hearts are overlapping each other) and fill wine glasses with red white and pink hard candies like M&Ms or lifesavers.
