Be it a spouse a friend or a parent we show our loved ones how much they mean to us by delivering them with sentimental cards flowers candy and gifts. It is the one day of the year when all out romanticism - in all its forms - is expected and accepted. When it comes to Valentines Day we all seem to have our own ways of celebrating. For some that means a special dinner at a restaurant. For others it means tickets to a show. And for still others it means a special Valentines Day treat that we wait for all year long. Valentine cookies are here just prior to and on February 14th - and gone the day after. So for many buying or making these sweet treats are part of their celebration of love. For the backing go with a tablecloth in the color scheme a pink piece of paper or otherwise interesting forms. Candles A great way to make a room or home look beautiful for the holiday is through the use of candles. Often you may have some extra from Christmas to use. Get candle holders or use rings of silk flowers and greenery. Look for the right scent for the candles too if you would like. Make sure they are pink white or red. Next place your heart shapes onto the cooking tray and bake them in the oven for about a half an hour at 212 degrees Fahrenheit. When they are done let them cool. You can now paint them with red pink or white acrylic paint. To hang them on the wall you can hammer a couple of small nails into the back and string with wire or string. The sculpture will be light enough to hang on a small nail or screw in the wall and you can reuse it every year.
