Fathers Day / March 5, 2019 / Francisca Mccarty.
Fathers Day is also an opportunity to reflect on the things were sure wed like to do differently. Looking to improve and do a better job be determined not to repeat the mistakes that were made with us is all part of growing up and aiming to be the best we can be when we come to parent our own children. Susan Leigh is a Counsellor and Hypnotherapist who works with stressed individuals to promote confidence and self belief with couples experiencing relationship difficulties to improve communications and understanding and with business clients to support the health and motivation levels of individuals and teams.
They register how he treats their mother other family members. Family values are learned from positive experiences. - Respect for others is demonstrated in non-domestic situations. How father behaves towards other road users staff in restaurants and shops how he talks about and to other people. Good manners and consideration are important in building positive successful relationships. - A good work ethic is learned from a responsible father. A sense of fair play and integrity doing a good job and gaining satisfaction from work all engender a solid foundation for life. Being responsible with money treating property with care not taking good fortune for granted having fun doing a good job well are traits one can hope to witness and learn from a father.
Yet we indulge ourselves into putting in a futile effort to be emotive and effusive enough to make our way to the bottom of someones heart. Gift is a medium through which we often want to showcase our love and respect for the others. But instead of flaunting our riches and spendthrift nature we should bask in pleasure while gifting the others. When it comes to buying a fathers day gift you should take a pick that suits to his taste. Surely you will find a galaxy of beautiful items in the market but it is you who have to make a choice which one to pick up. My dad is my hero - almost all of us murmur this slogan times and again.
Another good way to celebrate this special day is to prepare a Fathers Day dinner. Prepare your Fathers favorite foods. If you dont know how to cook ask your mother to help or dial in the delivery number of his favorite restaurant. Always make sure that everybody is present on the table. Have fun talk and enjoy! Give him some Fathers Day sweets for desert. Every Fathers Day I am reminded how fortunate I was to have a Dad like mine. My Dad was "Number One" and yes I miss him. But I never bothered to buy him a tie. My sisters and I knew what he wanted more. My Dad was a very quiet gentle caring father of four girls - no boys! Thinking back I am sure Dad was a little "over his head" with all of us girls. I dont think he really knew what to do with us. "No rough-housing" was a standard phrase my Dad would use.
Another fathers day gift which tops the list is the self made card. Nothing beats a card which says that you love him. It is even better if it has been made by you because it shows the effort which you have put in. You can also frame the card if you want in this way it can be appreciated throughout the year. Photographs are always reminding us of all the beautiful memories that we have spent. On this fathers day take out the family album and use all those photographs to make a huge collage of you and your father. You can put together all the baby pictures birthday photos and all those special occasions when you and your father were together.
