Red is still the most popular color at Valentines but many women surveyed prefer shades of pink peach orange lavender and other more feminine hues. And all roses symbolize love.

I own and run four successful gift stores and on Valentines Day its a mad house. Women are utterly perplexed when it comes to buying valentines gifts and often make poor choice in romantic gifts for their partner. Admittedly most stores in a ten mile radius stock valentine chocolate gifts in general and dont offer the ladies much other than chocolate gifts. With little to choose from women are probably going to end up buying valentine hearts and valentines flowers unless theyre given some kind of broad guideline to go on.
