Earth Day Birthday provides the 20th century grassroots effort in reaching eco-friendly people and making an impact on the planet. Attending an Earth Day symposium would be tiring so people need some energy to keep up stay awake and energized to absorb the important matters that are being discussed in that said event. If you would notice organizers of such events are providing some food for people to munch in and it depends the time of the day if it would be apt for lunch snacks or dinner. But usually organizer is serving snacks like finger food and energy bars or anything that is related to the theme of the event while others rely on their sponsors for food.
This is a good way for everyone especially your mom to relax and enjoy. You could plan a trip in the beach or probably out of the country so your mom could do some shopping.
