If a big loud and lively celebration of this holiday is to your liking you will have the luck of the Irish on your side if you take a few steps in advance. To keep things relatively simple consider basic appetizers green beer and plenty of green derbies vests and Kiss Me buttons. A local Irish restaurant should be able to help you with the appetizers. Some hearty Irish stew is always a hit too. Do not forget to turn on some traditional Irish folk music and set the tone so your guests can cut a rug and dance a jig. The Irish aren t much like the people that Irish Americans pretend to be on St Patricks Day. But please don t take our stereotypes away. We love them so.
