Fathers Day / March 5, 2019 / Eve Owen.
They register how he treats their mother other family members. Family values are learned from positive experiences. - Respect for others is demonstrated in non-domestic situations. How father behaves towards other road users staff in restaurants and shops how he talks about and to other people. Good manners and consideration are important in building positive successful relationships. - A good work ethic is learned from a responsible father. A sense of fair play and integrity doing a good job and gaining satisfaction from work all engender a solid foundation for life. Being responsible with money treating property with care not taking good fortune for granted having fun doing a good job well are traits one can hope to witness and learn from a father.
But then why not make merry one day and shower your father with gifts which is one way of showing your love and affection to your father. Fathers day is observed all over the world on the third Sunday of June every year to give your father gifts and appreciate him for all that he has done for you. Fathers day is not what it is made out to be. Indeed you should give your dad gifts and shower all your love on him but remember; gifts alone cannot make up for the emotional vacuum he feels. You have grown up and busy with your family while he feels neglected. In this fast age and stressful lifestyles perhaps fathers dont get enough recognition for all that they have done for their family and kids. Use your own imagination in choosing the gift for your dad.
The best gifts for dad should be according to your fathers choice otherwise they will have of no use to him. As you are quite closed with your father so you have a clear hang of his taste and preferences. Does he burn midnight oil to read the novels? If yes then pay a visit to the bookstores and choose some popular novels. It is better to combine the classic novels and short stories. Nothing can match utility of the great books to a book-worm person like your dad. May be he will consider the books as the best fathers day gifts he has ever had. Photo frames are the all time favorite whatever be the occasion.
Another good way to celebrate this special day is to prepare a Fathers Day dinner. Prepare your Fathers favorite foods. If you dont know how to cook ask your mother to help or dial in the delivery number of his favorite restaurant. Always make sure that everybody is present on the table. Have fun talk and enjoy! Give him some Fathers Day sweets for desert. Every Fathers Day I am reminded how fortunate I was to have a Dad like mine. My Dad was "Number One" and yes I miss him. But I never bothered to buy him a tie. My sisters and I knew what he wanted more. My Dad was a very quiet gentle caring father of four girls - no boys! Thinking back I am sure Dad was a little "over his head" with all of us girls. I dont think he really knew what to do with us. "No rough-housing" was a standard phrase my Dad would use.
I think he thought wed "break." But Dad would do the quiet things with us like telling stories about far away places where we could raise giant cabbages hunt for gold or drill for oil. His stories were exciting and sometimes very funny - at least to his four daughters. Wed fall to sleep at night thinking about going on adventures with Dad. We never knew what to buy for Dad on Fathers Day. Of course wed ask but his answer was always the same. "I have everything a Father could want including all the ties I can ever use." Ties were "out." What was left? Then we caught on to what Dad really liked not just on Fathers Day but on days whenever he needed something on wanted something.
